I take 100 mg twice daily and it doesn't have any side effects. However, since adding Buspar and Zyprexa, I feel drowsy all day. But the relief of anxiety is worth it. I have a boss who swears by Effexor. He is about 3 times my size and only takes 75 mg a day. He said his inner Hulk comes out when he doesn't take it. We all know different meds affect us in different ways. I was on the lowest dosage of Zoloft and had diarrhea so bad that I didn't make it to the bathroom in time one day at work. Maybe give it some time and see, or if you think you need something different, tell your doc.

I take it and it helps my antidepressant work better, I was on the strongest of my antidepressant, so couldn't have any more of that. I am now on 3 75mg venlafaxine. They have helped me, you should ask your doctor if they are really giving you bad side affects. I wouldn't know as i take so much, and the combo makes me tired during the day, so I am fuzzy feeling because of that.
