It was as not diagnosed until two years peri menopause. I wish I had known about it sooner but once I had the DMS for diagnosis it was as if my entire life had been explained. Only one thing health and that was to not do stressful things around the time just before my period . Symptoms included episodes of severe rage anxiety and depression . I learned about it from specialist at a local University. If only I had insight sooner. Local drs and non psychiatric ones had never heard of it . They all thought I meant PMS. It is the most under researched condition with the most devastating consequences on the planet. It’s because men have disenfranchised women and expected them to behave like psychos just before period but no one cares how it affects the woman. If this had been man’s condition it would’ve been cured or better researched decades ago

Yes I had it since I was about 13 and it eventually destroyed my life. It disappeared with menopause but it was too late

All I can advise or give you is my honest support. I've had birth control since my son 10 years ago. But before that have PDD made my anxiety worse, and couldn't switch birth control since because it stopped my periods. I still have anxiety and depression with the birth control hormones. But before I had IUD I always felt i would use one of the birth control pills etc that only gave like 3 periods tops a year. Hope you find a professional doctor help you. It's well known these days to have troubles.
