Struggling With My Working Hours....

I work for a food delivery company, delivering restaurant food to customers after they order it. My hours are kind of erratic -- I currently work 5 days a week -- my day starts at 11 am, and I am usually done by 9 pm. However, my problem is that the work hours are dependent on when people feel hungry, so that impacts how much time I sit around waiting for that to happen. I got a retail job at a store that's not that busy. Even Black Friday last year was manageable. I work evenings so I can sleep in as I have insomnia, even with my meds. I went to a minimum wage position after being a court reporter for nine years making almost $60,000 a year. My boss refused to let me work if I was seeking treatment! Try to find something with more "set" hours maybe. Just an idea.
