Joint Pain
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

Im 28 years old and I know Im 'young' but Im having joint pain more recently. I have pain in certain areas like my foot or my wrists but lately its kind of moving in different areas now. I dont take anything for it and I dont even bother telling my doctors because whats the point? Anyways I dont take any vitamins but Im thinking of getting some. What ones should I take for this that may help? I take OTC meds for the pain but it doesnt help.
Thanks guys xx

I work at a pharmacy and people with similar problems, pain in the joints, usually go for vitamins that are a combination of magnesium and calcium, you take it at night because those type of vitamins absorbs better at night, you may also want to see if exercise makes a difference in the amount of pain. You can also get a rub or gel to put on, it relieves some of the pain in some cases. You also get meds that are formulated for joints, they are usually not prescription or even scheduled. You can just go to a pharmacy and ask them what they would suggest for you, because you have painful joints. Also try to up your intake of vitamin C it might also help.

Hi @A MyDepressionTeam Member,
I always take one multivitamin + minerals tablet each morning. You can get them from pharmacies and supermarkets.
I would mention the symptoms to your Dr as it could be a simple matter to deal with it maybe something a bit more complicated. OTC meds are ok short term but can have some side effects that you're better off without.
Sending you lots of love, hugs, strength and healing vibes x 😻💞😻

My sister thinks I'm crazy but I take prenatal vitamins.... no I'm not pregnant BUT they do wonders for my hair which normally falls out when I'm stressed out and my nails are long and strong.

It could be the beginnings of arthritis. I would take Tylenol and definitely tell my doctor. They'll help you, get seen right away!
