How do I lose the weight gained after stopping citalopram.

It has been three months now since I am no longer taking citalopram. But since I stopped I have gained so much of weight and nothing is helping Me lose the weight.

I hope you weened off it. Some people crave carbs when they stopen taking it which I believe is related to the seretonin change. So cutting carbs seems masochistic if your craving them. Obviously, talk with your doctor first if you haven't already. Exercise daily, stay hydrated with water, and focus on a diet with lots of vegetables fruits of varying colors, nuts, seeds, legumes, fish and seafood. This helps with getting Omega 3's, healthy fats such as those found in avocados, walnuts, peacons, etc, and salmon, talapia. Also, it will increase your overall antioxidants.

Cucumber lemon and water. You can with blend it so it's like a shake or just put the ingredients in the water refrigerate it for 24 and drink religiously. @celexa

in my case I cut off all soda and bread products or at least cut them way back.
