I'm talking about a period of 10 years or so.
In my experience yes it does lose itβs effectiveness.
Thank you. I'm still taking a reduced dose of venlafaxine and already I'm experiencing fewer side effects. For instance I'm having fewer problems with excessive sweating which used to mean me changing clothes after a moderately energetic dog walk. Don't know yet whether I'll be coming off it completely or using both venlafaxine and mirtazapine for the foreseeable future. But at least I can have a foreseeable future after a crisis where I couldn't.
Yes I was so happy getting rid of it.
Thank you for this. Mine has added Mirtazapine and I do notice a considerable difference thank goodness. I appreciate your sharing this as I thought it was just me.
Have been on Venlafaxine for 12yrs. Did notice a decline in efficacy. So my specialist added Avanza and Seroquel. It's been 3mnths and have yet to see a difference.
