Suicidal means it's time to contact a healthcare professional. And stay in touch here. Hugs to you.

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I hope things are better for you these last two weeks. In my experience many people who are suicidal don't share and suffer alone. Those around you may or may not realize how depressed you are.

It takes a lot of effort to tell someone you are suicidal. It takes even more effort to say it again if nobody got it the first time. Usually a person who says they are suicidal have a plan on how to end it: pills, hanging, shooting. Please don't think that my saying this will upset her more.

Many suicide attempts are a call for help. You can't always tell the difference if someone is suicidal or not.

Kaitlyn if you have not seen a healthcare provider you need to do it now. Suicidal thoughts don't usually go away on their own. I know you've read all these posts, mine included, and members care about you.

Please take the first step if you haven't. Don't think if you were stronger you should be able to take care of it alone. You are strong. You've told thousands of people you are suicidal.

Or let us know if you have reached out for care. We are concerned and this is why you have chosen to be part of this group. Many, many hugs.

Breakup happen. My ex boyfriend broke up with me months ago and I was so in love with him. I still am, he's my best friend. It hurts but when i got broken up with... i just let tine heal, after a while. I told myself, it's time to move on. Because I couldn't just lay in bed miserable. I spent time with friends. And that's the best thing to do, be around a supportive group of people (with being suicidal too) . A positive support group is a huge factor of getting better.
