I had similar problems while on Cymbalta. My girlfriend at the time took it personally. I tried to explain that it was the meds I was on, but she didn't believe me. My doctor changed my meds and the problem went away.

i have absolutely no intrest in sex and forget that it's been weeks since i payed attention to my boyfriend. he thinks it's him but it doesn't even cross my mind. i am going to ask my doctor this week if i can try something else because i read that it could be a side effect

I've had several different medications during my battle with depression - for some of them changes in my libido were side effects.

This has been a big concern for me also with medication. As soon as I go off or reduce my medication my sex drive returns...feels great until the depression also returns. I'm not sure the answer. Definitely has effected romantic relationships.

My depression affects me. My girlfriend is very understanding once I explained it all the way through! 8 years together and we can talk about anything without any judgments. Because of her, I am a man!
