I don't consider feeling sad about something bad that happened depression. That is a normal response to something. To me depression is feeling bad when I don't really have a reason to. Or feeling too bad about something that happened. Too bad for too long.
What causes that? Why do I react differently than other people?

I am happy to report that I start seeing a psychologist tomorrow and I am super excited about it. I have been waiting for this for so long that I want to make sure I am fully prepared for my first session. I know from experience that the first session is often used to get to know the patient and to discuss what they hope to gain from therapy. Ive been doing great. Without meds I have been doing great the past few years. Worked hard to get back on my feet again. But lately the voices etc is returning. I dont have the funds or medical aid to get help does anyone have an idea of where I can get help. I cant go through this again.....
