Hi. I'm really needing support right now Has anyone here had a really negative effect(s) on Wellbutrin ER? I'm experiencing weight gain, crying ( I am not someone that cries unless I'm angry or severely depressed). I feel empty, like I'm nothing. The first part of the year I was doing well, lost weight, cut bad food out of my diet. But ever since my third month on this I've gone back to eating too much and then guilt and I relapsed back into sh after three months without it. I've gone off of… read more
I took Wellbutrin and felt pretty good, until I woke up one day with an itchy rash all over. It lasted 2 weeks. Most antidepressants cause weight gain, but Wellbutrin is supposed to be one that… read more
This is my own personal experience... I had been taking a low dose of Seroquel for about 2 ½ years, feeling very depressed and low, my psychiatrist decided to take me off Seroquel I was prescribed Bupropion. I feel like a lot of the symptoms that I was accrediting to depression, were side effects. Extreme fatigue, grogginess, difficulty focusing. If I went to a depressive mind set I would be consumed by suicidal thoughts. Another thing... I have a severe neck injury, I have been… read more
I am dealing with not being able to leave my apartment along with the major depression. I know it's baby steps.
Good Morning,
About three week's ago when I went to pick up my medication there was a note to say my Venlafaxine (Efexor XR) had been changed to a generic brand of the medication - Enlafax. I didn't think too much of it at the time
I have noticed a drop in my mood, I am increasingly more irritable and angry inside, my thoughts of self-harm and suicide have definitely increased, and I just don't feel "right".
I thought a bit more about what could be causing then then I had a light-bulb moment… read more

Hi I've been on different antidepressants for years and am currently on cymbalta/duloxetine. All of them have caused me to put on weight, which causes more depression and not liking myself. I was slim and active before I started these medications. Now I feel too tired to exercise, whereas I used to be active. I've just started a new diet but find the drugs cause carb cravings and increased appetite. How do people deal with this problem? I feel in despair about it as when I come off the… read more
Try Lamotragine. I've been on it for 2 yrs now and have lost weight on it. No carb cravings either. You start on 25 mg 2x a day, then work your way up. I'm on 125 mg 2x a day. Curbs manic symptoms as… read more
Just wondering if that's the cause...psych meds. I've been on them (many different ones) for nearly 20 years for major depressive disorder and anxiety. I am 40 years old and the last couple years have seemed cloudy for me. I am definitely not as sharp as I used to be! Currently on Viibryd, Abilify and Provigil. Thank you in advance!

I did. Mania went through the roof and depression was so bad I had a plan to drive my van off of a bridge into the Brazos River. I ended up at the ER and then went to a psych. facility (3rd time)… read more
I changed my character and personality and was wondering if any of you had done this to cope with your depression if not maybe you need to try.!
I wish I could get rid of my insomnia its the root of all my problems I have now
I can't focus, have zero motivation to do anything, not able to keep up with anything, can't finish anything. Could I have an incorrect diagnosis?
Just do it. Works for me. But only once in a while
I have been reading so much about how the medication that we think is making us well, actually keeps us 'sick', I am curious. I have been on anti-depressants for so long now, I wonder...or am I paranoid?
I have tried to stop one medication and I got suicidal and my anxiety was real bad
